A major procurement system change is coming for suppliers to the Norwegian specialist health service.
Sykehusinnkjøp hf will switch procurement platform from Mercell to Ivalua on 24 March 2026. From that date, all new Sykehusinnkjøp hf procurements will be published in Ivalua, and new agreements will be signed and managed there during the contract period.
What suppliers should know
- Competitions published in Mercell before 24 March 2026 will stay in Mercell and be completed there.
- This means Sykehusinnkjøp hf will use both Ivalua and Mercell for a period.
- Registration in Ivalua opens on 24 March; approval is required and may take time.
Practical points highlighted by Sykehusinnkjøp hf
- Existing suppliers with active agreements already have profiles in Kardia and should use the password reset function (not re-register).
- One email address can only be linked to one legal entity.
- Ivalua is free for suppliers and offers free technical support (09:00–16:00), but it does not provide tender alerts.
