Asger Lindvig

Managing Partner

Asger provides advanced expertise within health economics and pricing and reimbursement processes in several countries.

Prior to founding NHTA, Asger Lindvig was a Senior Health Economist at Amgros, supporting the Danish Medicines Council with health economic appraisals, price negotiations and decision recommendations. He has been involved in the development of the Danish Medicines Council and the underlying processes from the beginning and was the main driver in developing the guidelines for health economic analyses for new medicines and indications in the hospital sector in Denmark. He is a specialist in pricing and reimbursement, and during his time in Amgros he was responsible for several projects on the topic, including country comparisons of pricing- and reimbursement systems and medicine prices. He is also an expert in innovative pricing agreements, such as managed entry agreements, developing multiple projects on the topic, and was involved in implementing such agreements in the Danish hospital sector.

Asger holds a Msc in Medical Market Access and a BSc in Medicine with Industrial Specialization from Aalborg University, Denmark.

Andreas Pagh

Andreas provides advanced expertise within health economics, clinical review and guideline development.

Prior to founding NHTA, Andreas Pagh was a Senior Health Economist at Amgros, supporting the Danish Medicines Council with health economic appraisals, price negotiations and decision recommendations. Prior to Amgros, Andreas was employed in the Secretariat for The Danish Medicines Council and The Danish Council for Expensive Medicine (RADS), responsible for developing clinical guidelines within a broad range of disease areas. Andreas is an expert within systematic reviews, GRADE methodology and structuring clinical value stories.

Andreas holds a Msc in Medical Market Access and a BSc in Medicine with Industrial Specialization from Aalborg University, Denmark.

Anders Mærkedahl

Partner

Anders provides expertise within health economics, market access, pricing and reimbursement processes within MedTech.

Prior to joining NHTA, Anders Mærkedahl was Global head of Health Economics & Market Access at Ambu A/S, responsible for the integration of health economics into product development (stage-gate model), clinical development plans, and launch excellence plans. Anders established the global HEMA team in Ambu A/S and built it from 1 to now more than 15 people globally. Anders is an expert within implementation of value-based procurement, developing key health economic and market access tools (BIA, CEA, GPO- IDN strategy tools and value dossiers) within MedTech. Anders is currently representing the Danish MedTech industry in a commission under the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business & Financial Affairs and the Ministry of Health; “Partnership for Innovation Promoting Health Care in Medical Devices” as an expert within HEMA.

Anders holds a Msc in Medical Market Access and a BSc in Medicine with Industrial Specialization from Aalborg University, Denmark.
